1. Service description

Imports by Okoro provides sourcing, marketplace browsing, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery services for goods imported into Kenya, including a "Buy For Me" feature for sourcing items from external listings. Quotes, prices, and timelines shown on the Service are estimates and are only confirmed once we issue a written quote or invoice for a specific order.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Orders, quotes, and payments

Each order is governed by the quote or invoice we issue for it, which sets out the price, any deposit or balance due, and other applicable terms. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. Refunds and cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the terms of the relevant quote or invoice — please contact us if you need to cancel or amend an order.

4. Marketplace listings

Marketplace listings are provided for informational purposes. Availability, condition, and final pricing are confirmed at the time you place an order and may differ from what is shown on a listing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• provide false information or place fraudulent orders;
• use the Service to source, ship, or import unlawful goods;
• misuse, interfere with, or attempt to circumvent any feature of the Service, including the Buy For Me lookup tool; or
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its branding, design, content, and marketplace listings (excluding third-party content), is owned by Imports by Okoro or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, Imports by Okoro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or suppliers that are outside our reasonable control.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Imports by Okoro harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes arising from them or your use of the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
